Problems ever since I installed this OS

I user Cyberduck to upload files for my interactive class and it worked fine on Leopard but ever since I installed Snow Leopard and I click on the icon on my dock it just bounces a few times and doesn't even open. Also, I try to access my courses site and everytime I try to log in it crashes on me (same thing happens to another friend who recently installed it). How can I fix these problems?

Cyberdug verison 3.3b2 or later is needed for Snow Leopard. See:

Logging in via web browser with crashes may mean you are using a browser that hasn't been tested with it, or a software that hasn't been tested with it. Look at the above listing, or the listing below for Snow Leopard compatibility:

If you have any peripherals attached, make sure those are compatible too:

If your friend is having issues, I suggest they post here another topic thread to isolate their problem if the above advice is insufficient.

Update CyberDuck to the Snow Leopard compatible version.

sweet thanks...it works! but there's still one last problem...the only problem, so far, that I face...and that's blackboard crashing on me in Firefox everytime I try to log in...it works fine in Safari but my preference is Firefox...if I can get all of this problem taken care of I can finally install Snow Leopard on my laptop...

ummm to be honest I'm not sure...usually it'll prompt me to get it when I open it right? that hasn't happened in a while

o ****...I went to the firefox site and it says they're on 3.5 and when I did "about firefox" mine says 2.0 lol...is there a way in the preferences I can search for an update or do I need to manually install it from their website.

In the newer version you can select help on the menu bar and at bottom of dropdown is an to check for update, can't remember if it was there in 2.0

wow...thanks a lot man...I didn't know I haddn't been updating my firefox...it works fine. Only thing is when I dled it and installed I had two firefox's on my dock so I removed one (that's one right?) but when I open it now it says I can only run one.

Show the Firefox in the Finder, and delete the older one by putting it in your trash and emptying your trash.
