Unable to uninstall Safari in Win XP

I have tried everything I can think of, but I cannot uninstall Safari completely. I tried re-installing, but it just installs safari 4.04 and I get a message that the computer cannot find safari.msi to remove the old version. I have even tried to find the old installer for safari, 4. something, I think it is linked to Safari 4.03, but it still gives me the same message. What gives? What do I do? I have 71 mb of dead weight here.

Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from Microsoft:

[Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301]

Now run the utility ("Start > All programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Safari entries and click "remove".

Now in "My Computer" open C:\Program Files\ (or whichever drive your program files are stored on). Right-click the Safari folder and select delete.

Empty your recycle bin, and restart the PC.

Are you able to successfully reinstall now?
