Max Ram for late 2009 white macbook

Well i would want to know if the max ram is 8gb or 4gb. 4GB shows as max on the apple site but i have heard that nvidia says it can go up to 8gb. I dont know what is the truth. So could you please help me. What is actually the maximum ram for a white macbook late 2009 2.26GHz

Hi

I was checking on similar question, although to only add 2 more gigabytes. I looked here on Apple site and they say only certified Apple tech should install memory and the warrenty is void, if Apple does not approve of the work. My warrenty is out anyway, but others might wonder. That OWC is nicely priced for the 4 GB. Thanks for the reference.
