LANDSCAPE MODE WON'T WORK

I recently got my new iphone and for the first week the landscape mode worked fine. Now all of a sudden it won't work at all in texting, ipod, pandora, etc. I've tried resetting my settings, tried removing all apps, tried restoring phone to original setting also...nothing is working....

did you try this?

Display does not go into landscape mode
Remember that photos, webpages, and applications will not change viewing-orientation modes when iPhone is lying flat. Hold iPhone vertically to switch between portrait and landscape modes or vice versa.
To test, open the Calculator application while holding the iPhone vertically (portrait mode). The standard calculator should appear. Then rotate the iPhone to a horizontal position (landscape mode), and the scientific calculator should appear.
Note: Not all applications on iPhone use landscape mode. Videos played in iPod and YouTube are automatically in landscape mode.

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. If I open the calculator and then turn my iphone sideways, nothing happens...i'm just looking at a calculator that is sideways..............this is very aggravating.

If you're still under warranty, see your next Apple Store and let them check it.

Surely you dropped the iPhone and damaged the accelerometer, there is no warranty for that.

There is no surely in regards to this.

Hardware can be defective or fail, which is what the warranty is for. If this was caused by accidental damage, Apple should be able to determine this.
