Cant find my iPhone in iTunes

I tried to restore my iPhone to orriginal settigs, but the proces failed.
The phone is all black and does not respond, and i want to try again.
The problem is, that the phone does not show up in iTunes as usual, when i connect it to my computer. What do i do?

Try placing your iPhone into recovery mode and restoring it from there. Turn the iPhone off, then press and hold the home button. Keeping it held, plug it into your computer via the USB cable. Keep the home button held until the "Connect to iTunes" screen (with the USB cable and arrow pointing to an iTunes icon) appears. Hopefully, iTunes will recognize the iPhone in recovery mode and you can restore it.
