casio wk-3200 not working

Question

casio wk-3200 not working

I have set up the audio midi in the setup on my mac and i have also downloaded the casio universal driver and placed it into my drivers folder, i have also downloaded the driver for my midi interface, when i plug it in the comp recognises that a midi has been connected but when i try to choose the input source it doens't have the option like my guitars midi, why is this?

You don't select an input source for midi. Just create a software instrument track and hit record, it will listen to inputs from all connected midi devices on all midi channels.

hey yer thanks that works, however how do you use the effects on your keyboard and not the gb effects as it seems to only use the gb effects and not your keyboard presets?

thanks for the info jsut realised i can send my keyboard thru my guitar midi effects pedal(gt-10) and set all the effects on my pedal off and i can use the effects on the piano, thanks for the info.
