Problems with phantom iphone app updates.

Been having an issue with my 3Gs for weeks now.

App store shows updates on my iphone. I update the apps, go back to the App store icon and it shows the same apps with updates again. I tried rebooting the iphone or deleting the app and reinstalling and the issue is till there. Keeps showing new updates even though i have already updated them on my iphone.

The problem goes away after a few days on its own.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

this has just started happening to me and my wife in the last 2 or 3 days...
seems if i try to update a second or third time it will eventually take.
also if i have like 3 updates to install and i choose "update all", it may update 2 out of the 3 and leave the last one in the list.
this is all done on the iphone, haven't tried updates recently through itunes.

I have also experienced the same problem. I tried updating Whole Foods yesterday, Dec. 11 with the same described problem. Today I updated with no problem.

One thing I've noticed...whenever I have an app that fails to update...I notice that the release date has not come yet...

So for example...if the app update shows and says released 12/14....I see this update 12/13 and it keeps trying to update but wont no matter what...the very next day when it is actually 12/14 matching the release date...it works...
