Multiple Installations possible?

I just updated my G5 to Leopard, in order to add some FCP effects (can't go to Snow leopard). Can I also install the same software on my MacBook Pro (Intel)? How do I register the second installation?

Mac Mini, MacBook Pro (Intel), Power PC G5, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

if you bought a regular leopard disk it only lets you install leopard on one computer according to ULA. to install it on another computer you need to buy a separate Leopard disk. or you can buy a family pack that lets you install leopard on up to 5 computers in the same household. but AFAIK, there is no way to "upgrade" a regular leopard retail disk to a family pack version.
