My ipod shuffle (3rd gen) wont turn off!!!!!

You may have moved the switch to the "shuffle" position instead of the OFF position.

Shuffle will stop IF/WHEN earphone plug is removed and resume play when it's reinserted (assuming switch is in one of the play positions...

Suggest you take it into an Apple Store for analysis and possible replacement.

Shuffle 3rd gen - Had a similar problem - I'm on my third pair of earphones - Shuffle works good - workout seven days a week with shuffle

- there is a recognized problem with earphones - Took my shuffle to Apple Store - exchanged earphones 3x - several months now - working good- full control

still seems to be a problem with certain podcasts - only particular podcast do not function well

I am also having the same problem. Have you learned anything more about how to fix this? Is it the earplugs or the shuffle itself?
