Time Capsule has flashing yellow light after latest Snow Leopard update
After doing the latest Snow Leopard update which was supposed to address an Airport Extreme problem, mine now has a flashing yellow light. I'm still connected to the Internet, but after restarting it, and rebooting my cable modem, the light turns green for a few minutes, and then flashes yellow again.
Please open AirPort Utility (Hard Drive > Applications > Utilities)
Click Manual Setup
Click the word "Status"
A window will open to explain the reason for the flashing amber light. It may be a message that a firmware update is available for your device. If not, what is the message?

It says my 'Internal Disk Space is Low'. It gave me the option to ignore the warning, which I probably will do. My understanding is: it will now delete the oldest files that Time Machine has backed up. But will it delete files I've manually moved onto there?
Time Machine won't delete files if you have them in folders. If they are just loose files on the same root level as the xxxx.sparsebundle files, Time Machine may go after them if it is really hungry.
Post back if you need a few tips about how to create/name a folder on the TC disk. You have already have done this.
After looking at, I realized that I don't have any additional files on my Airport Extreme other than the files that Time Capsule backs up. I was confusing it with the files that are also on my Western Digital external hard drive.
