NFS stale file handle
I have one machine running Mac OS X.4 Server. It is NFS serving several exports.
I NFS mount these exports on a client running Mac OS X.5.
Every time I update the mount status of one driver on the server (e.g. via mount -ur, mount -uw, or by attaching or detaching a drive), all NFS mounts on the client from this server are invalidated (I receive "NFS stale file handle").
Why is this and is there a workaround?
