My iPod Touch is recognized by iTunes which says that it is fully charged, yet the screen is black as if the iPod is turned off or in sleep mode. I have tried pressing and holding the "Power" and "Home" buttons to reset it, and I think it is rebooting because it will disappear from iTunes for a few minutes. But the screen stays 'off' the whole time. I performed a system restore through iTunes and told it to set it up as a new iPod, but the screen still will not turn on. My iPod is not under warranty anymore, so I can't get Apple to help me without charging me for it. Can anyone help me?
