White line appears on right side of frame once uploaded
Hi everyone. I've done lots of searching about this but couldn't find a solution anywhere. I recently edited a video in final cut pro and uploaded the film to youtube. I then viewed the video once it had uploaded and noticed a vertical white line running down the right side of the frame. I have edited plenty of footage in final cut pro and uploaded the finished video to youtube and never had any problems in the past.
Thanks for your time.
Mac Pro 3, 1,
Mac OS X (10.0.x),
Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3, Garageband 08
the codec for this one was PAL-DV although after looking at my previous projects none of the successful uploads used this codec. normally it's either apple intermediate codec or hdv 1080i50
I mean...what is the codec and dimensions of the video you sent to youTube? The video on Youtube is 480x360 29.97 fps. Did you place a 16:9 into a 4:3 box container?
Make the video 768x576. I don't think you'll see a one pixel stretch. If you are concerned about that one pixel of stretch and you are using Compressor. In the geometry tab set the size to 768x576, in the padding section add one pixel of padding.
