would my iphone charger work in europe?

Hi, I will be bringing my iphone to europe. but i was wondering if the charger will work by just using the converter (not the heavy converter. it just converts the plugs to round tips). would that work by just changing the tips? or do i need a real converter to change the voltage unit? I don't want to burn my iphone..lol
