Good drop resistant case?

I am getting an iPod Touch and I am looking for a case. I want somthing that will protect the iPod best if dropped. The Otterbox is too bulky. I like the Candyshell from Speck, but am not sure if this will protect from a pocket level drop. Any good case reccommendations? Also I am looking at a Speck Pixleskin.
