iphone playlist in wrong order

Question

iphone playlist in wrong order

the playlists on my itunes are correct and have been throughout ownership of all ipods however my iphone 3gs thinks its a great idea to list them in order and play in a completely different order please advise what to do

dell inspiron, iPhone OS 3.1.2

Try turning of the Live Updating feature in the Smart playlist options... that should fix the syncing out of order on the iPhone issue...

Just a workaround.. not a fix

My iPhone 3GS was doing this with Smart Playlists however I have fixed it.
I did two extra steps when creating the lists.

First off I have an extra rule that says Playlist Is Music.
I then chose the option Copy To Play Order (Right click on Playlist)

Remove the Playlist from the iPhone and sync.
Add back, resync and it will be in the same order as iTunes.
