Accessing files on Iseries AS400
Hey Guys,
I am running a Mac Pro (snow leopard 10.6.2) and I am successfully connecting to the ISearies AS400 server (file server) using the “connect to server” option under the Finder > Go. Here is where it gets weird – As I connect to the “Literature” folder on the server I can only see a portion of the folder located in the particular location, On the Mac I see 34 folders in the “Literature” folder and on any Windows based computer I can see all folders -84 of the to be exact. The folders are not hidden, not locked and I am the owner of all 84 folders. I created a 3 test folders on within the Literature folder and one of the folders was visible from the Mac – Wait it gets weirder!! Once the test folder became visible on the Mac (viewing the network folder on the ISeries AS400) one of the already visible folders disappears from the Mac (not deleted just no longer viewable).
Any information you may have will be greatly appreciated.
