My battery was working perfectly fine. I was charging it, suddenly power cord got disconnected and my macbook turned off. I restarted macbook and reconnected power cord. Now, LED on power cord does not turn on, it stays off and on status bar it says "Battery is not available" and runs on power cord. I disconnect power cord still it stays on. I restarted several time and reconnected power cord but it did not turn on and status keep saying battery not available. Did anyone have same problem? Please help how to resolve this.
You can't calibrate the battery, according to the instructions in your link, when the system shuts down with no warning. How do you deplete the battery when your MBP shuts down at around 40%? Just let it sit for a few days?

What are you talking about? The original poster did not say that?
I am not altogether clear about what is going on from your description of it , but it is likely that you have a hardware problem with either the battery, the computer or the adaptor. As you have a 13" MBP and are therefore well within the warranty period you should take your computer to your nearest Apple Store or AASP to get the matter rectified.
In its present state it sounds as if you would not be able to calibrate the battery, but before taking it to a repair centre you might find doing an SMC reset helps in such a situation. To do this on a 13" MBP with a non-removable battery:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
If this doesn't resolve the matter then I suspect the problem is hardware related. It may be, too, that the battery has discharged below the point where it is recoverable because of an issue with the charger or the like.
