iPhone and Telus

I was wondering if anyone recently got the iPhone with telus here in Canada. I live in Ottawa and I find that the cellular reception is pretty bad. Now I know that Telus and Bell just recently upgraded their networks so they can carry the iPhone so their network is still new. But I just wanted to know if anyone else was having problems, I'm curious to see if the problem is with my phone or their network.

With my old Motorola V710 that I upgrade from to get the iPhone the service was way better even though that was a CDMA phone.
