Hello I have installed bootcamp ages ago and installed my XP on to my mac. My keyboard works when i boot on mac. But when i boot on Windows none of my keyboard options work. For example the eject key is on the right of F12 key. I read on the bootcamp help on the macintosh and it says it should work, just repair your install of drivers. I did that and it still doesn't work. Please help it's just it will make life so much easier (not having to go to my computer, right click the cd, and press eject)

If you don't have a Bootcamp icon in control Panel you need to reinstall the
Bootcamp application. Does fn and F12 increase Sound volume?

This is from Help in Windows 7 's (or any Windows OS) Bootcamp control panel. Using an Apple keyboard's function keys

By default in Windows, pressing function keys on a portable Mac or a newer Apple keyboard controls hardware features.

Boot Camp supports the volume, brightness, keyboard illumination, and media keys.
You can use function keys to control application features by holding down the Fn key. For example, if you open iTunes and press Fn-F1, iTunes Help opens.

Using the Boot Camp control panel, you can change how function keys work, so that they control application features by default, and you have to hold down the Fn key to control hardware features.
To change the way function keys work: Click the Boot Camp icon in the system tray and choose Boot Camp Control Panel. Click Keyboard. Select or deselect "Use the F1-F12 keys to control software features."

Some portable Mac computers have a group of keys with small numbers on them that can be used as a numeric keypad. To use the numeric keypad, press the Num Lock (F6) key. The other letter keys are disabled and only the numeric keypad keys work. Press Num Lock again to return the keyboard to its normal functioning.

Thank you for replying so quickly.

Firstly I'm trying to reinstall Bootcamp. When you say the Bootcamp icon in controll panel are you suggesting the startup disk?

I think you got the wrong message.. sorry bad explaining. I am trying to get my mac
keyboard Function keys to work on Windows XP.

Sorry a bit of frustration for me.
