Merging Multiple .mov files into one .mov file with Chapters?

How can I Merge Multipe .mov files into one .mov file with Chapters?

Is iMovie the correct application for this? If not, does anyone know which one it?

Yes you can do this in imovie, assuming the original source .mov's are compatible with imovie and don't contain chapters already.

Is it possible to do with Quicktime Pro?

I have over a hundred very small .mov files and importing them into iMovie seems to take quite a while.

Additionally, does the quality remain the same?

Or, can I queue these movies in Quicktime - I've only been able to play them one by one...
