Remove individual attachments

Finally switched to Apple Mail from Entourage. One significant problem. In Entourage you can delete individual attachments from received mail. Apple Mail seems to only have the option to remove all attachments. All or nothing!

This is a real problem for me. I send out email daily with images. People reply with more images, and mine attached. I do not need to save my images, but do need to save theirs!

iMac 3.06 Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Of course, you can save the individual attachments separately. Note that if you leave the images attached they are in encoded form, which is 35% larger than the un-encoded file. This could be significant for large attachments. So saving the files you want, then removing all attachments might be a reasonable approach.

Thanks, but again, not what I'm looking for. This is something pretty standard in other email apps.

No, it's not. It may be a feature of Outlook, and Entourage, but it's not a standard feature by any means.
