Question

Using garage band to record radio show

Im looking to record a radio show so i can put it onto my iphone. The show is available to listen to any time online through the bbc iplayer and is 2 hours long

Im sure this will be a pretty simple process but ive never used garage band before so dont really know where to start.

any tips would be much appreciated

GB isn't going to help, get Audio Hijack, or WireTap

Unless you have two computers, Garageband won't work. If you do, all you need is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm headphone cable from the output of one to the digital input of another and can record directly into Garageband.

Alternatively, use Audacity and follow these steps below:

GB isn't the solution. In addition to the 2 apps mentioned above, which are general purpose recording apps, RadioShift is a possible choice.
