sony CMT HiFi - bluetooth to iMac

Hey....i'm having trouble pairing my boss's iMac desktop to his Sony CMT bx50bti HiFi system via bluetooth.....no trouble connecting, but in the last step the system asks me for a PIN number....at that point the pairing cancels. Thoughts?

You'd have to consult the Sony manual to find out what the default BT pairing code is. Often it's 0000 or 1234

Are you initiating the pairing process from the Mac or the HiFi?

Hey got it resolved....just had to set it up as a 'Headset' instead of as 'other.' the iMac prompted me to input my OWN pin, which i then put into the system. sounds great, blasting christmas music \m/ (>_<) \m/
