Exporting a FCP project to a QT movie to Windows Movie Player
Before I upgraded to FCP 7, if I wanted to send a short project (2-3 minutes), I would export to QT and then convert to wmv. No issues. Now with FCP 7, I do exactly the same export but here's the hiccup.
It shows as 720 x 480 and also that it's computer aspect ratio is obviously 640 x 480. All that is normal. Even a TV set, which doesn't think in terms of pixels, if it did, would display anything like this as 640 over 480. 4:3 like any old, non-widescreen, 16:9, TV.
But the file is actually 655 x 480. And when I convert to a wmv., QT can play the audio only . . no video. I am obviously doing something wrong (I think) but can't for the life of me figure out what.
Any assistance would be sincerely appreciated as it is my annual Christmas 'video card' to friends and family.
