How to prepare iMac G4 for shipping?

Are there any procedures for locking down or "parking" the hard drive, etc. prior to boxing up and shipping my G4? I know other computers I've used have a feature that can lock the hard drive to prevent it from moving and causing damage during shipment.

I agree no issues with the drive. The real question here is as the other poster stated. Make sure that the iMacs neck will not move during shipping. I recommend placing some type of soft bottom to the box such as the pillow mentioned above or Styrofoam, or the large bubble wrap sold at the post office or UPS etc. Then place the glass display face down into the box on top of the pillow etc. Then put a label on the box "this side up" to attempt keeping the package with the glass at the bottom during shipping, since the glass is the heaviest part.
