Powerbook G4 15" Al logic board upgrade

I have a powerbook G4 15" 1ghz. I want to upgrade the logic board. Will a 1.5ghz fit? Are all the connectors correctly located? Mine was made in Feb 2004. Also I have a 1.67 ghz board that works but does not fit. It's for sale.

powerbook G415", Mac OS X (10.5.8), 1 ghz

Hi s,

If your 1Ghz was made in 2004, it cannot be a Titanium. This is the Titanium forum. You'd likely find more help by posting in the G4 Aluminum forum.

Is that 15 inch 1.67 logic board for the last model which is for the high res screen and DD burner?
How much do you want for it?
(It will cost a lot to install at this end, and as you have seen, the entire computer is under $450 e-bay. I have the computer with a dead logic board and it is a matter of replacing the logic board or the whole computer.)
