Question

how do I transfer my songs from itunes to my mp3 player?

I purchased an mp3 player for my daughter for Christmas. We were aslo sold gift cards for Itunes. Purchased songs with the cards now can't figure out how to get the songs loaded onto her music player. Any ideas???

my player says that it only accepts mp3 format. Will the music from here convert over to this so I can load my mp3 player?

Yes, but what a hassle. I suggest buying mp3 files from Amazon fromnow on since you don't have an ipod and your mp3 player doesn't support the itunes store file format.

Anyway. Set your import settings to MP3 and convert the files as exlained here

iTunes only sync automatcially with iPods.
If your MP3 player shows up on the desktop, you can drag songs directly from the iTunes window to the MP3 player.

I was affraid of that. The player dosent have an icon on my pc.

Read the directions that came with the player. It should tell you how to get music to it.
