Verizon Mifi connection through Time Capsule

Is it possible to connect the Novatel 2200 (Verizon Mifi) through Time Capsule?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Bill, I'm curious, what why would you want to? What would that accomplish. The MiFi is it's own hotspot providing internet access. You don't need to connect it to anything. Just curious.

I use time capsule as time machine and right now I have to shift from the mifi hot spot to the time capsule for time machine to work. The mifi came with a micro USB to USB so I thought connecting the two would allow for seamless time machine. Previously I had time machine connected to my Hughesnet which I am so happy to have abandoned.

Unfortunately, the USB port on the Time Capsule, and for that matter, any Airport wireless device, are limited. See this KB article:

Do you not have DSL or cable service where you are? Those would have much faster connections than the MiFi.

I know the MiFi device is kind of cool, but it is meant more for when you are out-and-about traveling and away from your more permanent connection back home.

That is not to say that some have not been able to create home networks with their MiFi. See the following links for some ideas, but I still don't think it will allow you to do what you have in mind.

Thanks so much for you response and the links. No way to create a permanent connection other than mifi for us as we are part of that dreaded group who are homeless - or rather, full time on the road. Our way of avoiding mowing the yard, painting, weeding, etc.
