Incorrect passcode-Apple Remote app

When I try to enter the passcode from the Apple remote app on my Apple TV I get a passcode incorrect error message-how can I fix this?

I entered the passcode exactly as displayed on my iPod touch's Apple remote application but my Apple TV keeps giving me a passcode incorrect error message.

Mac mini (Core Solo 1.5GHz), Mac OS X (10.6), Apple TV

Hi, had the same issue and I got it sorted. Tried re-installing the remote app on the iphone and then tried re-adding it to apple tv. Didn't work, so then I turned off Apple TV (pulled the plug out), and turned it on again.

Once I did that, I could add the iphone remote.

I have precisely the same issue. This is enormously frustrating. I've deleted the remote app and restarted the phone. Nothing seems to fix this.

same problem. itunes sees my iphone, but i get the "entered incorrect password" error.

fortunately, deleting and reinstalling Remote on my iphone fixed the problem.
