Magic Mouse not scrolling, zooming or swiping

Is this because I have not switched to Snow leopard yet? I don't want to until I know all the bugs are out of it because I use Photoshop and Lightroom and a lot of plugins and cannot afford to have problems. I would like the full benefit of magic mouse though! Any comments please.

i mac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 24" 3.o6 GH 4 GB ram

I have had a similar problem. I can zoom, two finger scroll, one finger scroll, but NO 360º scroll or horizontal scroll of any kind. Spoke to Apple care rep on the phone for 45 minutes, he sent me to local genius bar, received new magic mouse...still have the same problem! Any ideas?

I was told the 360 scroll only works if you have snow leopard. I find again that Apple is not up front about a lot of things.

I had this same problem, my husband loves bigger text so I came on did a search saw your inquires. Then I went to my system preferences, Universal Access, turned zoom off in there, then went to options and at the bottom unchecked the box use scroll wheel with modifier key and then yep, my scroll worked on my magic mouse again. Not sure why this had to be done, but my computer updated yesterday and who knows. I just got this iMac to replace an old one without built in intel processor. I do not have this awesome mouse for my macbook pro, but after seeing that apple just replaced the mouse, I thought I would try some settings, hope this helps some people.
