Recently Added Playlist Not Working

I recently got a 64gb iPod Touch, but discovered my 'Recently Added' playlist displayed a completely different list of songs. I looked up the problem and thought disabling Live Updating would work, what actually happened is the playlist disappeared and will now not sync at all. Can anyone help?

Hmmm, just disabling Live Updating should not prevent the playlist from syncing.

In any case, you can also try editing the smart playlist as follows:

1- Add the criteria "Playlist -- Is -- Music", where "Music" is the iTunes category for all music items,

or

2- Add the criteria "Media Kind -- Is -- Music".

In either case you can re-check Live Updating. These are only workarounds, Apple needs to fix this!
