Is there any way to get rid of the "Don't add previews, add previews" that always pops up when you click on bookmarks menu? Thanks

Reset Safari ...

From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

I wonder the same as you yelstin.

After resetting Safari and then selecting Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks, the button Add Previews Now is highlighted. I am asked "Do you want to add previews now?

I would like to permanently turn this feature off after reseting Safari and not be asked that question again.
