Yea. me too. Anyone know? I have a big old wish list, and would like to give apple my money, but ive got a connection, and I get either "network connection was reset" OR network connection timed out. Is there a setting to alter some magical connection thingy-o somewhere? I've bought a lot of music, and have not had this problem until now.
I'm having the same issue, got back from a week vacation and "BOOM" my iPhone won't sync with Outlook Calendar, so I reinstalled iTunes and though my login ID and password are correct and work getting into iTunes store via my iPhone.
I can download apps there, but can't sync them with iTunes because whenever I try to Authenticate my computer or try to login to iTunes Store via my computer, I get the error message: *"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection was reset. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."*
Clearly the network connect IS active because I can peruse the iTunes store via iTunes, and have full internet access via browsers... so what's the fix??
I spent an hour with a junior Apple support guy just now and all he did was have me go through all the same stuff I already did.
At least you get a message. Mine freezes and then when I reboot, I find the ethernet setting changed from 1000baseT to 100baseT. Occasionally Bluetooth is gone as well, even the prefpane is gone.
This has been happening with increasing frequency so that now I cannot update or download apps without the "Network Connection was reset" message happening. Quiting/relaunching and/or restarting the computer sometimes works but this is seriously inconvenient.
Same thing. I can browse iTunes, but when I try to download anything (including app updates) I'm told my network connection was reset. No problems prior to 9.2. Haven't seen a solution.
Same thing happening to me. Tried to buy two movies and was getting that error. I rebooted my iMac and now it's just hanging. Got out my MacBook Pro and it's doing the same thing. I was thinking about dumping my cable subscription, but this download issue kinda makes me think that would be a bad idea.
