Shaw mail on iPod Touch

Shaw mail on iPod Touch

The mail application wont work with shaw webmail, and that's the only email account I have. Even on a shaw internet connection it wont work. Please guide me through ALL the fields I'll need to enter for it to work.

hp, Windows XP, 32 GB 3rd Gen. iPod touch

If you still can't get it to work, just setup a new free email address with a decent email provider who does work perfectly with the iPhone, such as GMail:

I finally got my shawmail account to work by using the host name as pop.shaw.ca - my outgoing is set as smpt - mail.shawcable.com
I don't know if this will work away from my home router, but it works at home for now.
