How does one get TO the clipboard to see what is on it on the iPhone? (ex. I just took a photo, edited it, and saved it to the clipboard, but now I don't know how to retrieve it.)

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

You edited the photo with which 3rd party application? The 3rd party application used for editing a photo should provide for saving the edited photo with the application, or to your iPhone's Camera Roll.

The only way to access anything saved to the clipboard is by using the paste feature such as pasting a photo or text that was saved to the clipboard to an email, etc.

Thanks! I was using Photogene, and I think I can figure out now how to get the photo back.

I was doing something similar where I wanted to send an image to my PC VM for editing and then send it back to the iPhone. Emailing was so cumbersome so I got ClipPrinter (iTunes). I was able to quickly send the image to and from my PC (works on Mac too).
It will also let you preview your clipboard and email/print items.
