Snow Leopard Box Set And Canon Pixma MP620

I installed the new snow leopard and created a resume. Then I try to print with my Canon PIxma MP620. I keep getting a message that says Error: No Pages Found! Has anyone seen this error and what can I do to correct it. The printer is wireless and it worked via network from my MacBook to clean printhead so I know it's communicating. I am new to Mac and this has gotten me puzzled. It has been working fine up to this installation and I guess it could be either of the 3 parts installed with the boxset. iwork 09, ilife 09, and snow leopard. I am wasting a lot of time here. I would really appreciate help. Thanks.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Did you install the printer via Print & Fax preferences? If not then select Mac Help from the Finder's Help menu and search for "printer" to find an article on how to add a new printer. Be sure you have a Snow Leopard compatible printer driver installed. Canon's proprietary drivers are located here.

Or you can use the included drivers that are part of Snow Leopard.

I am also having difficulty with this. I have tried going to the Canon site and installing drivers but the computer is just not recognizing the printer. Some people have been able to get this thing to work and I have tried suggestions but I am stumped.
I must be doing something wrong but cannot figure it out. Why is this so ridiculously complicated?
