trackpad problems

trackpad problems

when ever my powerbook goes to screen saver or goes to sleep, it can take a while for the trackpad to work properly having got the computer to wake again. i also tend to get erratic movement of the mouse using the trackpad. this tends to depend on the programme i'm using.

any ideas?

Hi Ben,

Welcome to Apple Discussions.

You have a new Aluminum PB (this is the Titanium folder). Your PB has a very different trackpad than TiBooks, so you stand a much better chance of finding an answer if you post in the PowerBook G4 (15-inch Aluminum) folder (I vaguely remember there's a process to reset your trackpad, but don't recall the specifics).
