Missing keywords on RAW files in iphoto

Hi

I am editing my photos using Photoshop elements and i an using the Adobe Bridge to help organize my photo. With the Adobe Bridge i add keywords to both JPG and RAW files.

When i import the JPG and the RAW files in Iphoto(i do not copy the photos to iPhoto library) i can see both files, but only the keywords from the JPG can be seen. The RAW files just displays RAW in the keyword field in Iphoto. I have the latest raw support downloaded and my camera is among the supported cameras.

Any good ideas on how to see my RAW photo keywords in Iphoto ?

Regards

Bridge writes metadata to sidecar XMP file for raw files. I would doubt that iphoto can read the xmp file, but I don't know for sure.

EDIT but one thing to check is to be sure that you are creating sidecar files and not writing to a central database. The setting is in the Camera Raw preferences (click the little square with the lines on it over the preview area in the raw converter).
