connecting to an xbox 360

i bought my brother the 5th generation ipod for christmas and he cant hook it up to his xbox 360. is there a reason why it will not work with the system?

Do you really mean 5th gen iPod? That's an obsolete iPod that hasn't been made in several years. Or, do you mean a 5th gen Nano? If you, you'd probably get more help if you posted in the one of the 5th gen Nano forums. For example:

yea the 5th generation nano. how can we get it to plug into the xbox.
