iTunes window size problem

Hey guys, sorry if this is a repeat question, but I searched for a while and couldn't find it. It was also a bit hard to know what exactly to search for.

Anyways, the question is, my computer died (or rather my OS did) and I had to reinstall leopard. After finally getting everything back up and running, I am having some issues getting my preferences and such back to the way i had them. In iTunes, specifically, hitting the green + button properly switches between mini player and full player, but the full player isn't all the way maximized, it is shrunk down and centered in the middle of the screen. If I maximize it by holding option and then clicking the +, it works just the way I want it (push + to shrink to mini or expand to full screen). However, I just found that if I enter the visualizer and then exit it again, the "default" sizing of the itunes player is small and centered which is all but unusable. Sorry if this doesnt make any sense....

Edit: Pic of the shrunken, centered player I am talking about...

I was in the same boat until I started messing around with the video size in the view menu on the top of the screen or window (depending on which OS you have). I prefer the "Fit to Window" option. You need to first play the movie in the iTunes window not a separate window. Then while the movie is playing click 'View' then click 'Video Size' then 'Fit to Window' option.
