If no change after the standard troubleshooting steps - an iPhone reset, restoring from the iPhone's backup, and as a new iPhone or not from the backup, more than likely this is due to hardware failure.

Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price, which pays for an exchange at a discounted price off the full retail sales price, or from the former full retail sales price for the original iPhone. In the U.S. the cost is $199 plus tax and the exchange includes a 90 day warranty.

Or you can contact a 3rd party repair service, which may not be much less than $199 depending on what needs to be repaired or replaced.

Makes you wonder......every person that response......Apple offers an out of warranty fix for that..............works for apple...........we all know apple likes to keep taking our money..........what we want is someone to fix the problem that has been going on since before our warranties went out...........I do believe apple has worked on my hardware 3 times under warranty and extended warranty........still have not just came out and said our bad!!!! We will try to fix the issue and at least make the people who butter their bread feel as if they are being heard......that's all I'm saying 😉

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the iPhone's backup, very more than likely this is a hardware problem.

Your LCD screen may need to be replaced.
