Support for Sony dcr-pc330

Hello:

I own an old sony dcr-pc330 tape-based camcorder that I've been using with Sony Vegas Studio on PC. I now have a MacBook and have both FCE and iMovie 09. I have been trying to capture/import the footage from the sony dcr-pc330 onto the MacBook but have not managed. Could this mean that the sony dcr-pc330 is not supported by Mac? How would I then capture the footage on my Mac?

Thanks

macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Hi

I use this SONY PC-330E Camera (PAL) version.

Works greatly - BUT YOU HAVE TO USE A 6-4pin FW Cable - The USB one that came
with Camera WILL NOT DO !

Have to use the FW-connection.

Also using the SONY TRV-900E - but the 330 is my favourite vacation Camera
both video and 3Mpix photos.

Very easy to bring with You.

• There also is a Menu system on Camera - Cheque so that it Playback via DV (iLinc)

FW = Digital in/out - FireWire (Apple) - IEEE 1394 - i.Link (SONY) - DV Terminal (by Panasonic)

Yours Bengt W
