but I'm wondering if I reinstall iTunes will I lose my last iPhone backup?
Your backup files are located here:
On a Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
On Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
On Windows Vista: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\MacBook Pro

Currently Being ModeratedJan 5, 2010 5:27 PM (in response to neuroanatomist)One more question on this...when I reinstalled iTunes it asked if I wanted to "Restore" or "Remove". I tried both with no luck on "Restore" but when I selected "Remove" a pop up box asked if I wanted to "completely remove iTunes". You said that my music and back up files are separate so if I select yes will my files still be safe?

Windows Vista & 7:
