Ipod Nano 5G Microphones

Hello-

I am looking to capture lectures using an Ipod with mic attachment. Does anyone have any experience with microphone attachments for the 5th Gen. Nano? Will the Nano accept input with a mic plugged into the headphone jack?

Thanks

No experience using a mic attachment. The iPod's own mic works well for me sitting in the 3rd row at church to catch the sermons just in case I fall asleep.

According to an article I found through a Google search:
+"If you’re hoping to use the nano 5G to record lectures, say, we’d recommend an external microphone which should manage better range and clarity.."+

If you have a mic attachment, visit an apple store & test it on an iPod Nano 5th gen or get confirmation from Apple by calling them.
