All the events in iCal are shown as coloured boxes but when I print a week to view the colours only show as skinny bars on the left. How do I print a page of iCal so all the events show as full colour boxes? Hope someone can help, thanks.
I've just visited an Apple store to get an iPhone and asked a member of staff while I was there - he didn't think there was a way of printing iCal to show full colour sections, something about the difficulty of printing two or more colours when events overlap. If you hear differently from anyone, please let me know!

Hi,
I share your interest. The iCal "bubbles" are very effective in showing how time is allocated, and I do not see a way to print them except through the kludgy workaround of taking a snapshot of the iCal page and printing this. I use Apple
shift4 to grab the image and work from that. But it's not a printer-friendly image really.
Someone, let us know if there's another way. The narrow color bands in the print version of iCal aren't nearly as nice as the bubbles.
I second this need! I'm always ending up taking screengrabs for my boss. I do her travel schedule in iCal, and the colored bubbles are much easier to see, but screen grabs have poor print quality. One ought to be able to choose whether to print with the bubbles or the little bars.
