iTunes Radio Rebuffering Stream

Listening to a radio station using itunes, the music stops, the "Opening URL - Rebuffering Stream ..." icon appears but stalls - remains empty. In order to relaunch the station, I must stop the Rebuffering Stream and click on the station to restart. What is the solution?
