Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Well I got an Ipod Touch for christmas, and then I usually need to set my alarm to wake me up, I bought the Alarm Clock Pro to wake me up to my favorite tunes, and I saw that I needed to leave the app running so that it works, so this morning my mom had to wake me up because the alarm didn't work, I checked to see what was wrong and it turned out my Ipod was low battery, I had just charged it, and I had barely used it. I was wondering why it did this? Was it becuase I left the application running in the background? Please help because I really didn't want to waste the money and I really like the app. 🙂

This could be the blind leading the blind, but I had the same experience. You have to make sure that you stay connected to a battery charger. I'd like to continue this discussion along a different line: With a clock application, can you leave the clock image visible on the screen all night long without burning the image into the screen?
Leaving applications running with the screen asleep shouldn't be a huge problem but it would really depend on the application.
If you left the screen lit up all night, I can totally understand why your battery is drained.

Thxs very mucho 🙂 I have been leaving it charging but I heard it was "bad" to leave it charging at night, cause I don't stay up that late. is that true?

No, there's never a bad time to charge and it cannot be overcharged.
Does the app let the touch go to sleep? Because otherwise I can see why this would happen. Best thing to do is to leave it plugged in. Or buy a radio with a dock connector, like iHome.
Also, doesn't the touch have an alarm clock app built in?

Hey...there is a free app with alarm clock, it's cool, when you leave the itouch in the clock screen without turning off, it go off by itself, but the alarm works at the time you want it.
What I want to know, is more or less, how long the batery last....
