Malware affecting the Wacom Intuos driver software on the Mac

I have been having problems with my keyboard every so often glitching and typing wrong characters as if the alt key was being held down; that and all running programs closing when only one of them was closed. I have just discovered the cause is a form of malware or virus that affects the Wacom software but only on the Mac. When you open the Mac control centre and click the about button instead of seeing the version number and details, you get a little animation of a horned monster knocking over things on a desk. This and the legent that it is the mac wacom engineer monster who occationally likes to play tricks and cause mischief. ENJOY USING YOUR WACOM TABLET!! This is not what I consider amusing when you use your Mac for bussiness and risk losing artwork files that have taken hours because files close unsaved when they are not supposed to, and emailing clients and sending files is interupted when the keyboard suddenly stops working properly. I deleted the driver reloaded a new copy from Wacoms own site and thought I had the problem solved. However it has just returned affecting the new driver and software which suggests it is hiding on the Mac somewhere. Has anyone any idea where I should look for this annoying piece of malware on my system. I am running OS X Leopard not the new one, And hs any one else found this?
