Xgird Admin Jobs Failing

I have been working to get my podcast producer and podcast captures working properly.
Now when I submit the files get submitted, they then show up in the JOBS tab of Xgrid Admin and they start and then FAIL... everything I have set up seems to be working except the xgrid.

When I look at the Xgrid Overview I see all my agents but 0 working processors it shows my available processors and 0 unavailable but the Xgrid CPU power is at 0GHz

Does anyone know how to get this resolved

I am really stumped..

thanks much for your help

Do the jobs fail immediately or somewhere further on in the tasks. At least the preflight script should run. This doesn't sound like its a problem with XGrid, more a problem with one of the tasks in the workflow. I've been saying this a lot lately, but here goed again ;-):

Can you check if there are log files in /Library/Logs/pcastserverd/DiagnosticReports/

Maybe you can post one of the files here.

Oops. Thats only for Snow Leopard, for 10.5 you need to use the command line. If you open XGrid Admin and select one of the failed jobs, you can see what the identifier number is. Now open terminal and type:

kinit <podcast xgrid username>

xgrid -h <xgrid controller hostname> -auth Kerberos -job results -id <job identifier>

Can you post the output of this?

I am having the same issue. In the Diagnostic reports I find this:

Tue Feb 16 10:17:55 *myhostname* pcastaction[1230] <Critical>: You do not the correct permissions for this action.

This was working fine yesterday, then I accidentally removed the server from the Xgrid agent list when I was trying to configure an additional agent. To get the server back as an Xgrid agent I re-configured xgrid. The server is now an Xgrid agent again, but there seems to be an issue with the permissions. Any suggestions?
